I feel like I’ve gushed about this game enough for one year. However, I will try my best here. Resident Evil 2 is as good as a remake will ever get, putting it neck-and-neck with the REmake of the original game for Gamecube.
It tells the familiar story of Claire and Leon’s travails through the Raccoon City incident, but it changes, adds, and modernizes in such a way that it feels fresh, new, and engaging. Seriously, it’s extremely good, and I just had to play it on stream to share it with more people.
