A YouTube commenter summed it up best: “The moon landing was less ambitious than the GameBoy Color port of Resident Evil.” But most folks don’t know it exists.
This two part episode looks at the unfinished port of Resident Evil 1 to the GameBoy Color, a system whose specs are probably most similar to the NES.
In the second half of the episode, I look at Resident Evil Gaiden, a disavowed side story where Barry and Leon fight on a boat. It’s actually pretty fun!
