People know From Software for Dark Souls, but few are aware of their history outside of that series… or maybe Armored Core. One of From’s stranger digressions was the Echo Night series, which is a really early example of what we’d call “Walking Simulators” today. Echo Night: Beyond has you walking around an abandoned moon base, avoiding hostile ghosts and attempting to solve the problems of friendly ghosts.
