Square needed something to do between Final Fantasy games, so they made Parasite Eve. Aya Brea is a New York cop who has a terrible night at the opera, and finds herself trailing a monstrosity named Eve, hoping to stop her plans to birth the Ultimate Creature that will destroy the world.
This game is a bit of a departure for the Hex Crank Live series since it has RPG combat, but the pseudoscience more than redeems it.
